General information

Revital was born in Israel. Movement and dance were important parts in her life already in her youth. At the age of 10 she started taking classical ballet lessons. As a teenager she met a modern dance teacher (Tamar Ben-Ami). Since then, Revital took regular dance lessons where she learned amongst others Jazz, Modern, Folklore and Ethnic Dance.

1980-1984: Move to Switzerland. In this period, she also lived one year in Paris and educated herself further in different dance schools. 1983 she married Christian Rauch.

1984-1988: Move to Israel. In these years she taught dance to children and grown-ups and gave birth to two daughters. She met a yoga teacher (Yossi Ben-Josef) and was influenced by his knowledge of the body and deep impact of yoga.

1988: Move back to Switzerland. In the next 15 years, she was very busy as a dance teacher. She gave regular dance lessons and workshops in Burgdorf, Solothurn, Bern, Neuchâtel, Winterthur and Basel. She continued her education in Switzerland, Europe and the USA in dance (Modern and Ethnic) as well as in Feldenkrais and yoga.

Since 1993, Revital got certified as a practitioner of multiple bodywork methods (see details in education). Revital has since 1995 her own therapy practice and since 2003 her own yoga school in Burgdorf, Switzerland.

2020: Move to Falun, Sweden. Revital lives today in Falun and is teaching her own yoga style which she calls Revital YinYang Yoga. She developed this style from her different experiences in body- and movement schools which she came in touch with over the years. Today she teaches Revital YinYang Yoga in groups and private lessons, both in person and online. To practice yoga every day still is a physical and mental support for her.
